Yet many buyers assume 'bonded' means weaker—maybe because the word sounds like it implies added bulk or a different manufacturing process. In reality, bonded nylon often outperforms standard nylon for tasks like lifting, tie-downs, and bags. I've also noticed that bonded nylon is slightly more expensive per yard initially (maybe 15-20% more for the first order), but the longer lifespan offsets that.
